Me and My Demons

I'm alone siting in a dark room
Then these things appear
They tell me that they are my demons
I try to run away
I'm at the door, but they beat me to it
They drag me back to the chair and tie me down and make the door disappear
All i wanted was to be alone
I'm kicking and screaming to get out but it's no use
They tell the only way I'll be able to get free
Is if i stand up to them and fight
I tell them that I'm not the kind to fight
But they don't listen and start to attack
I close my eyes and take a deep breath to try to find it in me to fight back
I have defeated all but one
He is just too fast for me to get
He kicks me to the ground and pins me
He asks "want do u want most right now?"
"To get out and be alone" i answer
"But you could always get out"
"How? There are no windows and you made the door go away."
"All you had to do was look inside your soul and you would have found a way out"
I try it, and next thing i know is that I'm outside the room
There's nothing but white walls and a white floor
I stand there, facing the room as it catches on fire
Then i know i have defeated all my demons
And I'm finally free.
